月天
月の神で半月を持っています。月や光明などを意味するチャンドラが梵名。清らかな光が「よく毒熱煩悩を除く」ところから不死の霊薬と知られるソーマ酒の神ともみなされています。月天は清浄・浄化・静寂などの徳を体現し、瞑想、不死、愛などを司 る神でもあります。また、日天とペアになって星々の運行や自然の摂理を司っており２８宿の恒星天と、オリエントの１２宮占星術から取り込んだ１２宮 神を配下に従えています。
Gatten
The moon god, Gatten, holds a crescent moon. His Sanskrit name is Chandra, meaning moon or light. Because his pure light "eliminates poison, heat, and worldly desires," he is also regarded as the god of Soma, known as the elixir of immortality. Gatten embodies virtues such as purity, purification, and tranquility, and is also the god of meditation, immortality, and love. In addition, Gatten, paired with Sun God, governs the movement of the stars and the laws of nature. He commands the 28 star gods and the 12 zodiac gods adopted from Oriental astrology.
